Job Description

  4. Maintain a safe and clean environment: It is crucial to maintain a safe and clean environment for our patients. You will be responsible for keeping patient rooms tidy, ensuring proper hygiene practices are followed, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
  5. Document patient information: Accurate documentation is essential in healthcare, and as a CNA, you will be responsible for documenting patient information, such as vital signs, daily activities, and any changes in their condition.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Most Employers Require Cnas To Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent In Order To Be Eligible For A Job. This Shows Basic Education And Ability To Understand Medical Terminology And Instructions.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant Certification: Cnas Must Complete A State-Approved Training Program And Pass A Competency Exam In Order To Become Certified. This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Perform Their Duties Effectively.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Cnas Should Be Certified In Bls, As They May Need To Provide Emergency Care Or Assist With Cpr In The Event Of A Medical Emergency.

  • Prior Experience In A Medical-Surgical Setting: Although Not Always Required, Prior Experience In A Medical-Surgical Unit Can Be Beneficial For Cnas Applying For A Job At Providence St. Patrick Hospital. This Experience Shows That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Specific Demands Of This Type Of Unit.
