  1. Provide expert care and support to patients by creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
  2. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  3. Administer and monitor rehabilitation exercises and techniques to promote healing and improve physical performance.
  4. Collaborate with physicians, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  5. Educate patients on injury prevention and proper techniques for safe physical activity.
  6. Keep accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  7. Stay up to date on current research and developments in the field of athletic training.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for both patients and staff.
  9. Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients to aid in their recovery.
  10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills when working with patients and their families.
  11. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure high-quality care and compliance.
  12. Continuously assess and improve upon treatment methods and techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
  13. Act as an advocate for patients and their overall health and well-being.
  14. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Is Typically Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Practices Of Athletic Training.

  • Certification By The National Athletic Trainers' Association (Nata): Athletic Trainers Must Be Certified By The Nata Before They Can Practice. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Rigorous Standards Set By The Organization And Is Qualified To Provide Athletic Training Services.

  • State Licensure: In Addition To Nata Certification, Most States Also Require Athletic Trainers To Be Licensed In Order To Practice. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Specific Requirements For Practicing Athletic Training In That State.

  • Experience In A Clinical Or Sports Setting: Candidates With Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Or Sports Setting Will Be Better Equipped To Handle The Demands Of The Job At Providence St. Patrick Hospital. This Experience Also Demonstrates A Commitment To The Field Of Athletic Training.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Athletic Trainers Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Athletes, Coaches, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Also Necessary For Building Relationships With Patients And Providing Them With Quality Care.
