- Assist the pharmacist in accurately and efficiently preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
- Maintain and update medication inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply for patient needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other team members.
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant pharmacy environment.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to resolve any medication-related issues or concerns.
- Utilize computer systems to accurately and efficiently record and process medication orders.
- Keep up-to-date with new medications and developments in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to provide information and answer questions about medications.
- Assist in the training and supervision of new pharmacy technicians.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the pharmacist or pharmacy manager.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Candidate For The Associate Pharmacy Technician Position At Providence St. Patrick Hospital Must Have Completed High School Or Have An Equivalent Level Of Education.
Pharmacy Technician Certification: Candidates Should Possess A Pharmacy Technician Certification (Cpht) From An Accredited Program Or Be In The Process Of Obtaining One.
Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceuticals: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Types Of Medications, Their Uses, And Potential Side Effects.
Excellent Communication Skills: As An Associate Pharmacy Technician, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Interacting With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Pharmacy Staff. Strong Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For This Role.
