Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Associate Patient Advocate to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. In this role, you will be a passionate advocate for our patients and their families, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care and service. You will also serve as a liaison between the patient, family, and medical staff, advocating for the patient’s needs, rights, and interests.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a combination of superior organizational, problem solving, and customer service skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist patients and their families with navigating the healthcare system and ensure they receive the highest quality of care and service.
  2. Advocate for patient’s rights and best interests.
  3. Serve as a liaison between the patient, family, and medical staff to ensure patient needs are met.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families.
  5. Resolve patient and family inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient medical records and paperwork.
  7. Develop and maintain close working relationships with medical staff, patients, and families.
  8. Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
  9. Monitor patient satisfaction and provide feedback to medical staff and management.
  10. Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient experience.
