
Associate Patient Advocate
Providence St. Patrick Hospital is seeking an Associate Patient Advocate to join our team of compassionate and dedicated healthcare professionals. The Associate Patient Advocate is responsible for providing support to patients and their families with navigating the healthcare system and providing resources. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, an empathetic and caring attitude, and an excellent understanding of patient rights and privacy laws. Our ideal candidate must also have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting as well as a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field. Responsibilities:
- Assist patients and their families with navigating the healthcare system and provide resources.
- Provide empathetic and caring support to patients and their families.
- Ensure patients’ rights and privacy are respected and protected.
- Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, and other health care professionals.
- Educate patients on their rights and the services available to them.
- Research and provide solutions to patient inquiries and complaints.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and make adjustments to improve it.
- Respond to patient inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all patient contacts.
