Job Description

At Providence St. Patrick Hospital, we are looking for an experienced and committed Associate Operating Room Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a friendly and professional individual who is committed to providing excellent patient care and upholding our high standards of excellence. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, along with a strong commitment to the well-being of our patients.The successful candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be certified in CPR and able to lift up to 50 lbs. The Associate Operating Room Assistant must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. The individual should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in providing the highest quality of service to our patients and be committed to the mission of Providence St. Patrick Hospital.

Responsibilities: • Work collaboratively with hospital staff to provide excellent patient care. • Ensure adherence to hospital standards of excellence. • Maintain a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. • Follow safety protocols and be certified in CPR. • Lift up to 50 lbs. • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Prioritize tasks and work both independently and as part of a team. • Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals. • Assist in the operating room with surgeries and other procedures. • Ensure the operating room is clean and safe for all patients. • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality when handling patient information. • Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
