Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Associate Facilities Technician to join our team.   1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of hospital facilities and equipment.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of hospital facilities and equipment to identify and address any issues.
  3. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hospital staff and address issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions and mechanical issues.
  5. Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including materials used and costs incurred.
  6. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements in the maintenance and repair of hospital facilities and equipment.
  7. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
  8. Monitor and order necessary supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and repair work.
  9. Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to proper safety protocols.
  11. Communicate effectively with hospital staff and management regarding maintenance and repair activities.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost savings in facility maintenance and repair.
  13. Train and mentor junior facilities technicians as needed.
  14. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and developments in facility maintenance and repair.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Job Qualifications
