As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our anesthesiologists and ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients during procedures. Previous experience in a healthcare setting and a certification as an Anesthesia Technician are also required.   1. Assist anesthesiologists during procedures by setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment and supplies.
  2. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the anesthesiologist.
  3. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols and maintaining equipment hygiene.
  4. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
  5. Prepare and stock anesthesia carts with necessary medications, supplies, and equipment.
  6. Document patient information and procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  8. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and order as needed.
  9. Provide support and assistance to anesthesiologists during emergencies and critical situations.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge and skills in anesthesia techniques and equipment.
  11. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.
  12. Maintain certification and stay updated on advancements in anesthesia technology and techniques.
  13. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and offering suggestions for improvement.
  15. Uphold the hospital's mission and values in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Anesthesia Technician Program.

  • Minimum Of High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Current Certification As An Anesthesia Technician (Cer.a.t) Or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.a.t.t).

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment And Procedures, Including Maintenance And Troubleshooting.
