
Anesthesia Technician
At Providence St. Patrick Hospital, we are looking for an individual to join our Anesthesia team as an Anesthesia Technician. The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and supplies and assisting with anesthesia-related procedures. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team of anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals.To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of one year of experience in an anesthesia-related field. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Assist with anesthesia-related procedures.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain sterile techniques.
- Ensure appropriate documentation of patient care and results.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after anesthesia procedures.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide accurate information.
- Perform diagnostic tests to evaluate patient responses to anesthesia.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Monitor patient recovery and provide necessary post-operative care.
Ability To Read
High School Diploma Or Ged
Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cera.t) Or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.a.t.t) Certification
Previous Experience In An Anesthesia Technician Role
Knowledge Of Principles Of Aseptic Technique
Ability To Communicate Effectively With Members Of The Anesthesia Team
Understand And Follow Directions From Anesthesia Staff
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Equipment Used In The Anesthesiology Department
