Anesthesia Technician

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to join our Anesthesiology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia technology and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. The Anesthesia Technician will be responsible for assisting the anesthesiologist in the setup and maintenance of anesthesia equipment. This position requires excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and a dedication to patient safety. The successful candidate must have at least two years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician, and must hold a valid certification from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT). A working knowledge of anesthesia equipment and techniques is also required. Additionally, the candidate should be able to demonstrate exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, and must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist anesthesiologists with anesthesia setup and maintenance.
2. Ensure accuracy of all equipment used in anesthesia procedures.
3. Monitor patient safety during anesthesia procedures.
4. Maintain current certification from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT).
5. Possess a working knowledge of anesthesia equipment and techniques.
