Anesthesia Technician

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is seeking an experienced and passionate Anesthesia Technician to join our highly skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to Anesthesiologists and Anesthetists while ensuring the safety of our patients. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: a current American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) certification; a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting; knowledge of medical terminology and principles of anesthesia; and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change are also essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Anesthesiologists and Anesthetists with patient care by providing technical support.
2. Ensure patient safety at all times.
3. Maintain current American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) certification.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
5. Maintain a working knowledge of medical terminology and principles of anesthesia.
6. Perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
