- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms of patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Identify potential cardiac events and communicate critical information to the healthcare team.
- Utilize advanced technology and equipment to accurately monitor and record patient data.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient information and monitor trends in telemetry data.
- Educate patients and their families on telemetry procedures and provide emotional support as needed.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with telemetry equipment.

Certification: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree Or Certification In Telemetry Or Cardiac Monitoring Is Typically Required For An Advanced Telemetry Technician Position In A Progressive Care Unit.
Experience: At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Telemetry Or Cardiac Monitoring Setting Is Preferred For This Position.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: Advanced Telemetry Technicians Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology, As They Will Be Responsible For Accurately Documenting Patient Information And Communicating With Healthcare Providers.
Technical Skills: Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Telemetry Equipment, Ekg Machines, And Other Cardiac Monitoring Devices Is A Must For This Role.
Attention To Detail: As Advanced Telemetry Technicians Are Responsible For Monitoring And Interpreting Cardiac Rhythms And Vital Signs, Attention To Detail And The Ability To Detect Changes In Patient Condition Is Crucial For This Position.
