We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as an Admitting Representative for our Emergency Department. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for those seeking emergency care.   1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the Emergency Department with warmth and professionalism.
  2. Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor at all times, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients and their families.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  4. Accurately and efficiently register patients into the hospital's electronic health record system.
  5. Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
  6. Collect and process patient payments and co-pays.
  7. Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure a smooth and seamless patient admission process.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including patient privacy and confidentiality.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation.
  10. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and staff to ensure timely and accurate patient information.
  11. Assist with any additional duties or projects as assigned by the department supervisor.
  12. Stay updated on hospital procedures and protocols, as well as insurance policies and regulations.
  13. Uphold the hospital's mission and values by providing compassionate and exceptional care to all patients.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and provide feedback for potential improvements.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Fast-Paced Healthcare Setting, Preferably In An Emergency Department
