Acupuncturist

At Providence St. Patrick Hospital, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. We are currently seeking an experienced Acupuncturist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for holistic healing and a commitment to providing holistic care to our patients.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Acupuncture, or a related field, as well as a valid state license in Acupuncture. The Acupuncturist should have experience working in a hospital setting and be comfortable working in an interdisciplinary team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The Acupuncturist should also be knowledgeable about all aspects of acupuncture, including diagnosis, assessment, treatment planning, and patient education.If you are dedicated to providing exceptional care and have the necessary qualifications, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize acupuncture techniques and treatments to diagnose and treat patients.
2. Evaluate patient's symptoms and progress to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments.
3. Explain acupuncture treatments to patients and answer questions about the procedure.
4. Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and how to maintain their health.
5. Develop treatment plans for patients and work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best care for the patient.
6. Maintain patient records and document treatments.
7. Follow department policies and procedures and adhere to safety protocols.
8. Keep up with advancements in the field of acupuncture and stay current with best practices.
9. Maintain a valid state license in Acupuncture.
