Job Description

The Assistant Director, Alumni Relations at Providence College provides strategic and operational leadership for the College's alumni relations program. This position is responsible for developing and implementing programs and activities that engage, inform, and inspire alumni to be engaged with the College and its mission. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and creative individual, who is able to build strong relationships with College alumni and stakeholders, while effectively managing a wide range of projects.The successful candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with at least five years of experience in alumni relations or development, ideally within a higher education setting. Demonstrated experience in event planning and execution, and creating and delivering marketing materials, is essential. The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, the successful candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders.We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual who has an understanding of the importance of alumni engagement and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
