We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Utility Business Development VP to join our team and drive the growth of our utility business segment. As the Utility Business Development VP, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding our utility offerings. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of the utility industry, and a proven track record of driving business growth.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and expansion of the utility business segment.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the utility industry.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including utility companies, government agencies, and potential clients.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the utility industry.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new utility offerings.
  6. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the utility industry, including regulations, policies, and market trends.
  7. Develop and deliver presentations to potential clients and stakeholders to showcase our utility solutions and services.
  8. Negotiate contracts and agreements with utility companies and clients.
  9. Monitor and analyze financial performance of the utility business segment.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for improvements and innovations.
  11. Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts to stay informed about potential business opportunities.
  12. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  13. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop marketing strategies and materials for the utility business segment.
  14. Train and mentor team members on utility business development strategies and techniques.
  15. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all aspects of the utility business segment.
