As the Regulatory and Operations Counsel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as managing legal aspects of our business operations.   1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations at local, national, and international levels.
  2. Review and interpret laws and regulations to assess their impact on the company's operations and provide guidance to management and other departments.
  3. Advise on legal issues and risks related to business operations and develop solutions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  4. Conduct research and monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's operations and provide timely updates and recommendations.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential legal or regulatory issues and develop proactive strategies to address them.
  6. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to the company's operations, including leases, agreements, and licenses.
  7. Represent the company in regulatory and compliance matters, including responding to inquiries, investigations, and audits from regulatory agencies.
  8. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on legal and regulatory requirements and promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
  9. Provide legal support for various business initiatives and projects, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and development projects.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records of legal matters and provide regular reports to management on regulatory and compliance issues.
  11. Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed and manage relationships with regulatory agencies and other external stakeholders.
  12. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in regulatory and compliance matters and make recommendations for continuous improvement within the organization.
  13. Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and other departments on legal and regulatory matters, providing timely and practical advice and solutions.
  14. Uphold the company's values and standards of ethics and conduct in all interactions and ensure compliance with the company's code of business conduct and ethics.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Practicing Law In A Regulatory Or Operations Role, Preferably In The Real Estate Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To Real Estate Operations And Development

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Internal Stakeholders And External Regulatory Agencies

  • Demonstrated Ability To Provide Strategic Legal Counsel And Develop Risk Management Strategies To Ensure Compliance And Minimize Legal Exposure For The Company.
