  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of property accounting operations for an extensive portfolio of properties.
  2. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data for all properties.
  3. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures specific to the real estate industry.
  4. Monitor and analyze property financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize results.
  5. Manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as asset management and leasing, to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  7. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and providing recommendations for improvement.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices, making necessary adjustments to accounting processes.
  9. Conduct regular audits and reviews of property financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  10. Play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process for properties.
  11. Communicate and maintain relationships with property managers, tenants, and external stakeholders.
  12. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive efficiency and enhance overall business performance.
  13. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks and deadlines.
  14. Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  15. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline property accounting operations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Property Accounting Or Real Estate Industry

  • Strong Knowledge Of Gaap And Financial Reporting Requirements

  • Prior Experience Managing A Team And Overseeing Property Accounting Processes

  • Proficiency In Accounting Software, Such As Yardi Or Mri, And Microsoft Excel
