- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support Prologis' global logistics operations.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with existing vendors.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and competitiveness in procurement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and forecast supply needs and develop procurement plans accordingly.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, including issuing purchase orders, tracking orders, and resolving any issues that arise.
- Review and approve invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors.
- Continuously identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in procurement.
- Train and mentor junior team members on procurement processes and procedures.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Preferably In The Real Estate Or Logistics Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Procurement Processes And Best Practices, Including Sourcing, Negotiation, And Contract Management.
Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Skills To Work Effectively With Internal Stakeholders And External Vendors.
Proficiency In Procurement Software And Technology, Such As Sap Ariba Or Coupa, And Ability To Analyze And Interpret Data To Inform Procurement Decisions.
