  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's fleet operations, including maintenance, scheduling, and tracking of vehicles and drivers.
  2. Develop and implement efficient and effective transportation strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
  3. Manage and monitor fleet budget to ensure cost control and optimization of resources.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements in fleet operations.
  5. Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team of drivers and fleet personnel to ensure high performance and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Maintain accurate records and reports related to fleet operations, including vehicle inventory, maintenance logs, and driver logs.
  7. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet operations and transportation.
  8. Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks in the transportation process to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  9. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure fleet performance and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of transportation plans.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve fleet operations and stay ahead of the competition.
  12. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence within the fleet team.
  13. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner when interacting with external partners and vendors.
  14. Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Fleet Management: A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Managing A Large Fleet Of Vehicles, Including Maintenance, Procurement, And Operations.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Transportation Regulations: In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Fleet Management, Including Dot Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: Ability To Communicate Effectively With Drivers, Mechanics, And Other Team Members. Proven Leadership Skills In Managing A Team Of Drivers And Technicians.

  • Proficiency In Fleet Management Software: Experience With Fleet Management Software Such As Fleetio, Verizon Connect, Or Similar Tools To Track Vehicle Maintenance, Fuel Usage, And Driver Performance.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration Or Related Field: A Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Logistics, Or A Related Field Is Preferred. Relevant Certifications Such As Ctp (Certified Transportation Professional) Or Cafm (Certified Automotive Fleet Manager) Are A Plus.
