- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement fleet management protocols and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on all vehicles, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all fleet-related expenses, including fuel, repairs, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to clients.
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of drivers, providing them with ongoing support and performance feedback.
- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for the fleet, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective action as needed.
- Ensure all drivers are properly licensed and trained, and that all vehicles are properly registered and insured.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, making recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to address any fleet-related concerns or issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as leasing companies and insurance providers.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of vehicles and drivers to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the fleet management function.
- Act as a role model for safe driving practices and promote a culture of safety within the fleet.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Fleet Management, Preferably In The Real Estate Or Industrial Sector.
Extensive Knowledge Of Dot Regulations, Fleet Maintenance, And Safety Protocols.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Drivers And Technicians.
Proficiency In Fleet Management Software And Systems, As Well As Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities.
