Fleet Manager

2. Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to fleet operations.
4. Monitor and track fleet performance metrics and provide regular reports to upper management.
5. Hire, train, and manage a team of drivers and other fleet personnel.
6. Conduct regular safety training for drivers and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
8. Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
9. Develop and manage the fleet budget, including forecasting and cost analysis.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in fleet management and make recommendations for improvement.
11. Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, maintenance, and expenses.
12. Serve as the main point of contact for any fleet-related issues or inquiries from internal or external stakeholders.
13. Participate in meetings and presentations to provide updates and recommendations related to fleet operations.
14. Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to optimize fleet operations.
15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for all fleet personnel.
