- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards and risks.
- Create and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and track compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Investigate and report on workplace incidents and accidents, and develop corrective and preventative action plans.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in safety and sustainability.
- Manage and maintain safety data and records, including incident reports, training records, and safety data sheets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and community organizations.
- Coordinate and participate in emergency response planning and drills.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on safety-related issues.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on safety performance and trends.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive safety and environmental information.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the company's safety and sustainability practices.
- Communicate with upper management and make recommendations for improvements to safety and sustainability programs.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Environmental Regulations And Safety Standards.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Procedures.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Warehouse Or Industrial Setting.
Certification In Occupational Health And Safety (E.g. Ohst, Asp, Csp) Is Preferred.
