To support this commitment, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team.As the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all our stakeholders. Your strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in developing and implementing effective safety procedures and programs.   1. Develop and implement effective safety procedures and programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment for all stakeholders.
  2. Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards set by relevant government agencies and Prologis policies.
  3. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with various departments, including operations, legal, and human resources, to develop and maintain safety protocols.
  5. Coordinate and conduct training programs for employees to promote safety awareness and compliance.
  6. Monitor and report on environmental health and safety metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of safety procedures and programs.
  7. Investigate and document all workplace accidents and incidents, and make recommendations for preventing future occurrences.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in environmental health and safety to ensure the continuous improvement of Prologis' safety programs.
  9. Act as a liaison with external stakeholders, including government agencies and community organizations, to ensure compliance and maintain positive relationships.
  10. Communicate and educate employees on safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure understanding and compliance.
  11. Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency preparedness plans to mitigate potential safety hazards.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized records of all safety-related activities and reports.
  13. Collaborate with the Prologis sustainability team to promote environmentally responsible practices.
  14. Participate in safety committees and meetings to provide recommendations and support for improving safety measures.
  15. Act as a safety advocate and role model for all employees, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health And Safety, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Health And Safety, Preferably In A Warehouse Or Industrial Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Environmental Health And Safety, Including Osha, Epa, And Iso Standards.

  • Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols And Regulations.

  • Certification As A Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Industrial Hygienist (Cih) Is Preferred.
