- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape for energy storage projects.
- Oversee and manage the entitlement and permitting process for all energy storage projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and consultants, to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Identify potential regulatory roadblocks and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure timely project execution.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and proactively communicate any potential impacts to the project team.
- Coordinate and track all required permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Work closely with project teams to develop project-specific entitlement and permitting strategies.
- Manage and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and community stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit all necessary documents and applications for permits and approvals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all entitlement and permitting activities.
- Provide regular updates and reports to project stakeholders on the status of entitlement and permitting efforts.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with all approved permits and conditions.
- Mentor and train team members on the entitlement and permitting process.
- Develop and implement best practices and procedures for effective entitlement and permitting management.
- Advocate for sustainable and environmentally responsible practices in all aspects of project entitlement and permitting.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.
5+ Years Of Experience In Entitlements And Permitting Processes For Energy Storage Projects.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Energy Storage Development And Operations.
Experience Working With Government Agencies And Stakeholders To Obtain Necessary Permits And Approvals.
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead A Team And Coordinate With Multiple Departments And External Partners.
