- Develop and implement energy management strategies and initiatives across the company's West Region portfolio of properties.
- Manage energy-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Conduct thorough energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and sustainability, to develop and implement energy management plans.
- Monitor and track energy consumption and performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in energy management techniques to continuously improve the company's sustainability efforts.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion of energy-related projects.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Communicate and educate internal stakeholders about energy management initiatives, best practices, and impact on sustainability goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant energy regulations and standards.
- Participate in company-wide sustainability initiatives and events.
- Mentor and train junior team members on energy management best practices.
- Represent the company in external meetings and conferences related to energy management.
- Proactively identify and address any potential risks or challenges related to energy management projects.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to energy management.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Construction Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project Management Within The Energy Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Energy Projects, Including Solar, Wind, And/Or Energy Storage.
Strong Understanding Of Local And Regional Energy Regulations And Policies.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Stakeholders At All Levels.
