As the Director, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial reporting for our energy division, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.   1. Oversee all financial reporting for Prologis' energy division, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
  2. Develop and maintain financial reporting processes and procedures for the energy division.
  3. Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data for reporting purposes.
  5. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  6. Stay updated on industry and regulatory changes related to energy finance and incorporate them into reporting processes.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  8. Communicate financial results and recommendations to senior management and make strategic recommendations for the energy division.
  9. Drive process improvements and implement best practices to streamline financial reporting and increase efficiency.
  10. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and address any audit findings.
  11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, and regulators.
  12. Play a key role in budgeting and forecasting for the energy division, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  13. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to financial reporting and energy finance.
  14. Continuously monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities for the energy division.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on energy finance matters and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Financial Reporting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Financial Reporting, Preferably In The Energy Industry. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Financial Statements, Disclosures, And Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap).

  • Strong Knowledge Of Energy Industry: The Director Of Energy Financial Reporting Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Energy Sector, Including Its Unique Accounting And Reporting Requirements. This Includes Knowledge Of Energy Commodities, Trading, And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: As A Key Member Of The Finance Team, The Director Must Possess Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Lead A Team Of Financial Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Set Goals, Develop Strategies, And Motivate Team Members To Achieve Results.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Director Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Accounting, Legal, And Operations. This Includes The Ability To Clearly Articulate Financial Information To Non-Financial Stakeholders.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Director Should Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities To Identify Trends, Variances, And Outliers In Financial Data. This Includes The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions And Provide Strategic Insights To Senior Management.
