  1. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  3. Implement evidence-based techniques and interventions to address communication and swallowing disorders.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  5. Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve speech and language skills outside of therapy sessions.
  6. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of speech pathology.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, adhering to all HIPAA regulations.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and effective treatment approach.
  9. Effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding treatment plans and progress.
  10. Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and other professional development opportunities.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines in the field of speech pathology.
  12. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  13. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  14. Comply with all policies and procedures of Prisma Health.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional care and making a positive impact in the lives of patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited University.

  • Certificate Of Clinical Competence In Speech-Language Pathology (Ccc-Slp) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).

  • State Licensure As A Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge And Experience In A Variety Of Speech And Language Disorders Across Different Age Groups And Populations.
