  10. Stay updated on best practices and research in the field of social work and bring new ideas and approaches to the team.
  11. Provide crisis intervention and support during difficult situations or emergencies.
  12. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  13. Promote a culture of compassion, empathy, and inclusivity within the department and organization.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve social work services to meet the changing needs of patients and the community.
  15. Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to develop partnerships and enhance services for patients.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work Or Related Field: A Degree In Social Work Or A Related Field Is Essential For A Social Worker, Nursing Service Position At Prisma Health. This Education Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Support Patients And Families In A Healthcare Setting.

  • State Licensure: Candidates Should Possess A Valid State Licensure As A Licensed Independent Social Worker (Lisw) Or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw) To Be Considered For The Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The State's Requirements For Practicing Social Work And Is Competent To Provide High-Quality Care.

These Skills Are Essential For Building Trust, Providing Emotional Support, And Collaborating With Others To Develop Treatment Plans.
