A Degree In Social Work: Candidates Must Possess A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited Institution. This Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Work With Individuals And Families Affected By Infectious Diseases.
Knowledge Of Infectious Diseases And Public Health: A Strong Understanding Of Infectious Diseases, Their Causes, Transmission, And Treatment Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Also Be Knowledgeable About Public Health Protocols And Policies Related To Infectious Diseases.
Experience In Healthcare Or Social Services: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Or Social Services Setting Is Preferred For This Position. This May Include Working In A Hospital, Clinic, Or Community-Based Organization, And Providing Support To Individuals With Chronic Or Infectious Diseases.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Social Workers In This Role Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers. They Should Be Empathetic, Compassionate, And Able To Build Rapport With Individuals From Diverse Backgrounds.
