- Manage and oversee all aspects of research studies conducted by Prisma Health.
- Coordinate and communicate with research team members, including physicians, scientists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure smooth and efficient operation of studies.
- Develop and maintain study protocols and procedures in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Recruit and screen potential study participants, ensuring eligibility criteria are met.
- Obtain informed consent from study participants and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Collect, record, and organize data from study participants in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with study protocols and regulations.
- Assist with data analysis and interpretation, and contribute to the preparation of research publications and presentations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of study progress and any adverse events.
- Act as a liaison between the study team and external stakeholders, such as funding agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with other departments within Prisma Health, such as finance and legal, to ensure smooth operation of research studies.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments in healthcare research, and make recommendations for improvement of study processes and procedures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new research projects.
- Train and supervise research assistants and other support staff.
- Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve issues that may arise during the course of research studies.
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain the highest level of professionalism in all interactions with study participants and colleagues.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the research team.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the research team leader or supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Clinical Research.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Research Or Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Healthcare Environment.
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team Of Researchers, Healthcare Professionals, And Patients.
Knowledge Of Research Regulations And Compliance Standards, Such As Hipaa And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp).
