1. Provide exceptional patient care in the Birthplace Labor and Delivery unit by utilizing advanced nursing knowledge and skills.
2. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for newborns and their families.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive healthcare environment.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, symptoms, and progress notes.
6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for potential side effects.
7. Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
8. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
9. Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding techniques.
10. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment.
