  1. Perform surgical procedures on patients with neurological disorders, injuries, or diseases.
  2. Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostic tests to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  3. Make timely and accurate diagnoses based on patient history, physical examinations, and test results.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  5. Monitor and manage patients' post-surgical recovery and provide follow-up care as needed.
  6. Stay current with advancements in the field of neurosurgery and implement new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with information and education about their condition and treatment options.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  10. Participate in hospital committees, meetings, and educational programs to continuously improve patient care.
  11. Provide guidance and support to medical students and residents as needed.
  12. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Prisma Health and its values.
  15. Attend and participate in conferences, seminars, and other professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  16. Uphold and promote a culture of patient-centered care and exceptional customer service.
  17. Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare team members to ensure seamless coordination of care for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (Md Or Do) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Completion Of A Residency Program In Neurosurgery.

  • Board Certification In Neurosurgery From The American Board Of Neurological Surgery.

  • Valid State Medical License And Dea Certification.

  • Proven Experience And Success In Performing Complex Neurosurgical Procedures.
