Medical Degree: A Physician - Hospitalist At Prisma Health Should Hold A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: Candidates Should Be Board Certified In Internal Medicine Or Family Medicine By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Board Of Family Medicine (Abfm).
Residency Training: A Minimum Of Three Years Of Residency Training In Internal Medicine Or Family Medicine Is Required, Preferably With Experience In Hospital Medicine.
State Medical License: Candidates Must Possess A Valid And Unrestricted Medical License In The State Of South Carolina Or Be Eligible For Licensure.
Interpersonal And Communication Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For A Physician - Hospitalist At Prisma Health. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
