- Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Medicine department.
- Utilize strong clinical skills to assess and diagnose patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to provide education and updates on patient care.
- Stay current on developments in emergency medicine and incorporate new techniques and treatments into practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills in assessing and responding to urgent and emergent situations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a positive and professional representative of Prisma Health and the Emergency Medicine team.
- Uphold a high standard of ethics and professionalism in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment by actively contributing to team meetings and initiatives.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Institution.
Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In An Emergency Medicine Setting.
Active State License To Practice As A Physician Assistant In South Carolina.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certifications.
