  1. Safely transport patients from one location to another within the healthcare facility.
  2. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while transporting patients.
  3. Greet and communicate with patients and their families in a friendly and professional manner.
  4. Assist patients in and out of transportation equipment, such as wheelchairs or stretchers.
  5. Keep track of patient transportation schedules and ensure timely arrivals to appointments and procedures.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of transportation equipment and areas.
  7. Report any issues or concerns with patient comfort or safety to supervisors.
  8. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transportation.
  9. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during transportation.
  10. Handle sensitive and confidential patient information with discretion.
  11. Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on safety protocols and transportation procedures.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide suggestions for improving patient transport processes.
  13. Assist with other duties as needed within the healthcare facility.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Required.

  • Valid Driver's License And Clean Driving Record.

  • Cpr Certification And Knowledge Of Basic First Aid.

  • Experience Working With Patients In A Healthcare Setting Preferred.

  • Ability To Lift And Move Patients Safely And Efficiently, Including Utilizing Proper Body Mechanics And Equipment.
