
Patient Support Technician

- Greet and welcome patients and their families with a friendly and compassionate attitude.
- Provide assistance with basic needs, such as helping patients with personal hygiene and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist with positioning and transferring patients to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient requests and needs.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for patients, including changing linens and emptying trash.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report any changes in a patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Assist with patient transportation and escorting patients to and from appointments or procedures.
- Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are stocked and readily available for patient use.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Attend and participate in training and educational opportunities to continuously improve job knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and quality care to patients and their families.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Completion Of A Certified Patient Care Technician Program
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Patient Care Role
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.
