  1. Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Efficiently and accurately register patients for appointments, procedures, and admissions.
  3. Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
  4. Educate patients on insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely patient registrations.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  7. Respond to patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any registration issues or discrepancies.
  9. Work closely with other departments to coordinate patient care.
  10. Keep updated on insurance and healthcare policies and procedures.
  11. Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals.
  12. Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  13. Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area.
  14. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the healthcare organization by actively promoting a positive and compassionate work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Required, With Preference For An Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Registration, Insurance Verification, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Guidelines, And Regulations.

  • Excellent Customer Service And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations And Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals In A Professional And Empathetic Manner.

  • Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software, Including Electronic Medical Records, Insurance Verification Tools, And Microsoft Office Suite.
