  1. Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Accurately register and schedule patients for appointments, procedures, and tests.
  3. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
  4. Collect and process patient information and payments.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure efficient and timely patient care.
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines.
  8. Resolve any patient inquiries or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  9. Keep accurate and organized records of patient information and appointments.
  10. Stay up-to-date on all hospital policies and procedures related to patient access.
  11. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline processes for patient registration and scheduling.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  13. Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Work collaboratively with other Patient Access Specialists to ensure smooth operations.
  15. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  16. Support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
