- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and promote independence.
- Regularly monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Educate patients and their families on how to continue therapy exercises and activities at home to promote long-term recovery.
- Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in the provision of occupational therapy services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and discussions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the health and well-being of patients and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
- Demonstrate a willingness to work on a PRN basis and flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the organization and its patients.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Program
Current State License To Practice Occupational Therapy
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As An Occupational Therapist
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With A Flexible Schedule To Accommodate Prn Shifts.
