- Collaborate with a team of occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges
- Implement treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Assist patients in developing and improving daily living skills, fine motor skills, and sensory integration
- Provide individualized treatment to patients of all ages, taking into consideration their unique needs and abilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and evaluations
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families/caregivers to educate them on treatment goals and progress
- Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and ethical standards related to occupational therapy practice
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and goal setting for patients
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay current on advancements in occupational therapy practice
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to all patients.
Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant (Ota) From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification And Licensure As An Ota In The State Of South Carolina.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As An Ota In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Occupational Therapy Principles And Techniques, As Well As Experience With Various Treatment Modalities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
