  1. Provide exceptional and compassionate care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer.
  2. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  3. Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  4. Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate medical staff.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as directed by medical staff.
  6. Document patient information accurately and maintain patient records.
  7. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care techniques.
  8. Create a welcoming and comforting environment for patients and their families.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  10. Continuously strive to improve patient care and outcomes.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  12. Attend trainings and meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and protocols.
  13. Show empathy and understanding towards patients and their families.
  14. Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude towards all colleagues and patients.
  15. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification Or Licensure As A Nursing Assistant: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Certification Or License As A Nursing Assistant From An Accredited Institution Or Program.

  • Prior Experience In Oncology: Applicants Should Have Previous Experience Working In An Oncology Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility. This Experience Will Demonstrate A Basic Understanding Of The Unique Needs And Care Required For Oncology Patients.

  • Knowledge Of Cancer Treatments And Procedures: A Strong Understanding Of Various Cancer Treatments, Procedures, And Medications Is Essential For A Nursing Assistant In An Oncology Setting. This Knowledge Will Allow The Candidate To Provide Effective Support And Assistance To Patients Undergoing Treatment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members Is Crucial For A Nursing Assistant In Oncology. Compassion, Empathy And The Ability To Build Rapport With Patients Are Also Important Qualities For This Role.

  • Physical And Emotional Resilience: Working In An Oncology Setting Can Be Emotionally And Physically Demanding. Candidates Should Possess The Physical Stamina To Perform Tasks Such As Assisting With Transfers And Providing Physical Support To Patients. They Should Also Have The Emotional Resilience To Handle The Challenges Of Working With Cancer Patients And Their Families.
