Advanced Degree In Nursing: A Nurse Practitioner - Medonc Inpatient Must Have A Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Or Doctor Of Nursing Practice (Dnp) Degree From An Accredited Program.
Certification And Licensure: Candidates Must Hold Valid Certification As An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) In The State Of South Carolina, As Well As A Specialized Certification In Oncology Nursing Through An Accredited Organization Such As The Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (Oncc).
Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In An Inpatient Oncology Setting As A Nurse Practitioner Is Preferred. Candidates Must Have Demonstrated Expertise In Providing Care To Patients With Complex Medical Conditions And Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices In Oncology.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Nurse Practitioner - Medonc Inpatient Will Work Closely With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Support Staff. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role.
