- Provide specialized and comprehensive care to cancer patients in an inpatient setting.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Program: A Nurse Practitioner In The Medonc Inpatient Setting At Prisma Health Must Hold A Master's Degree In Nursing, With A Specialization In Oncology.
Active State Licensure And Board Certification: The Candidate Must Hold An Active State License As A Registered Nurse And Be Board Certified As An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) In The State Where They Will Be Practicing.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Oncology: Prisma Health Requires A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Oncology Setting, Preferably In An Inpatient Setting.
Strong Clinical And Critical Thinking Skills: The Nurse Practitioner Must Possess Strong Clinical Skills And Be Able To Think Critically And Make Sound Decisions In Complex And High-Pressure Situations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Member Of The Healthcare Team, The Nurse Practitioner Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals, Patients, And Their Families.
