
Nurse Practitioner- Gastroenterology

- Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of the Nurse Practitioner will be to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Gastroenterology department.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals: The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the team of physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills: The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in clinical knowledge and skills to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat patients.

- Adhere to clinical protocols and guidelines: The Nurse Practitioner will follow established clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams within the hospital to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Gastroenterology: The Candidate Should Have Completed A Master's Degree In Nursing With A Focus In Gastroenterology From An Accredited University.
Active Nurse Practitioner License: The Candidate Should Possess An Active And Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License In The State Of South Carolina, Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.
Certification In Gastroenterology: The Candidate Should Hold A Certification In Gastroenterology From A Recognized Board, Such As The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or The American Association Of Nurse Practitioners (Aanp).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Gastroenterology: Prisma Health Is Looking For Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Nurse Practitioner In A Gastroenterology Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Gastroenterology Procedures And Treatments: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Common Gastroenterology Procedures And Treatments, As Well As The Ability To Diagnose And Manage Various Gastrointestinal Conditions.
