  1. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests, to evaluate and diagnose ear, nose, and throat conditions.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
  3. Perform minor procedures, such as ear wax removal, nasal packing, and throat swabbing, in accordance with established protocols.
  4. Prescribe medications, including antibiotics, steroids, and pain relievers, and educate patients on proper usage and potential side effects.
  5. Monitor and manage ongoing chronic conditions, such as allergies, sinusitis, and hearing loss, through regular follow-up appointments and medication adjustments.
  6. Educate patients and their families on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies to improve their overall health and well-being.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and audiologists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner.
  9. Stay current on advancements in the field of Otolaryngology and attend continuing education courses to enhance knowledge and skills.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
  11. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices.
  13. Assist in training and mentoring new staff members, including nurses, medical assistants, and students.
  14. Support the organization's mission and values, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the delivery of care, seeking feedback and implementing changes as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Ear, Nose, And Throat (Ent) Care.

  • Current And Valid Nurse Practitioner License In The State Of South Carolina.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Ent Nurse Practitioner.

  • Certification From A Recognized National Organization, Such As American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners (Aanp).

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Ent Physicians And Other Healthcare Professionals.
