- Provide specialized care to patients with cancer, utilizing advanced nursing knowledge and skills.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and manage patient symptoms, side effects, and overall well-being.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options, disease management, and supportive care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Serve as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship in oncology care.
- Stay current with advancements in oncology treatments and best practices.
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for patients' privacy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in research projects and initiatives to advance cancer care.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Attend regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on patient care and departmental processes.
- Demonstrate commitment to professional development through participation in continuing education and trainings.

Master's Degree In Nursing With Specialty Certification As A Nurse Practitioner (Np) In Oncology Or Cancer Care.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As An Np In An Oncology Or Cancer Care Setting.
Current, Valid State Licensure As A Registered Nurse And Np In The State Of Practice.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Cancer Treatment, Symptom Management, And Supportive Care For Patients With Cancer.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.
