Advanced Degree In Nursing Or Physician Assistant Studies: A Prerequisite For A Np/Pa Position In Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery At Prisma Health Is Completion Of An Accredited Graduate Program In Either Nursing Or Physician Assistant Studies.
Active Licensure And Certification: Candidates Must Hold A Current And Active License As A Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant, As Well As Certification In Their Respective Specialty (Plastic Surgery).
Experience In Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery: Prisma Health Requires At Least 2-3 Years Of Hands-On Experience In The Field Of Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery For Candidates Applying For A Np/Pa Role.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures And Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Surgical Procedures And Techniques Related To Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery, As Well As Knowledge Of Pre- And Post-Operative Care.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Np/Pa In Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients And Their Families, As Well As Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals In A Multidisciplinary Team. Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Provide Compassionate Care Are Essential For This Role.
