  1. Perform various laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
  2. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  3. Record and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  4. Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by providing timely and accurate test results.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team members and communicate effectively to ensure proper patient care.
  6. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
  7. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during testing.
  8. Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen handling, processing, and storage.
  9. Stay current with new techniques, procedures, and equipment in the field of medical laboratory technology.
  10. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  11. Document and report any abnormal or unexpected results to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  12. Engage in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of laboratory services.
  13. Assist in training and mentoring new laboratory staff as needed.
  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all laboratory procedures and results.
  15. Attend and actively participate in department meetings and continuing education opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • A Degree Or Certification In Medical Laboratory Technology: The Candidate Should Have Completed An Accredited Program In Medical Laboratory Technology And Obtained A Degree Or Certification.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Laboratory Equipment: The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Medical Terminology And Have Experience Operating And Maintaining Laboratory Equipment, Such As Centrifuges, Microscopes, And Analyzers.
