1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the Orthopedic Spine department with warmth and professionalism.
2. Assist in patient check-in and registration processes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is collected.
3. Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for their appointments, including taking vital signs and obtaining medical history.
4. Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, providing necessary supplies and equipment.
5. Document patient information accurately and efficiently in electronic medical records.
6. Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
7. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients, addressing their concerns and needs in a timely and respectful manner.
8. Communicate with patients about test results, follow-up appointments, and other important information.
9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
10. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and procedures.
11. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
12. Keep up-to-date with current medical knowledge and attend training and educational sessions as required.
13. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by fostering teamwork and open communication.
14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and suggest ways to improve processes and patient care.
15. Represent Prisma Health in a professional and positive manner at all times.
